Fender Bobbins

I'm done messing with it, CK. Thanks though, that might come in handy sometime. :)

Blue tape is only hiding smooth bare metal, its there so you can see that the gap has been roughly established at rear of trunk. A slight wide spot exists on the right half. I did that side twice. I finished welding and grinding the lid this morning.



This afternoon I took the right quarter, door, cowl top, and top support ribs off and worked on areas where the tube structure hits quarter inside the top right rear corner of the roof, clearancing and welding in little pieces to finish the "cage". A little on the left too but with quarter on. So I could get the side window areas to look vertical, as a start on the roof insert adventure. No pics, figure I done run everybody off by now anyhow.

I guess in this case it would be nice if there was a complete rendering of this project before you started . kind of tough when the customer is not sure what they want for sure .
