What was wrong with the old one? I think I would've just painted over the mural of houses, trees and light pole on the old one.
I survived the Hyfrecator 2000.

You're a louver lover, I can see that. Learn me something, is the big hole so the press can get at it? I never messed with those 'cause I'm a not rodder. Didn't mean to say the k word, that was a slip. I reckon you'll show us how, thanks for picturing it. 8) What will you do with the move over people are racing thing?

Big cutout helps eliminate welds in area where louvers would be after filling hand hold area and upper keyhole. Louver Punches don't like welds. One big piece of metal put back in for louvers with welds around outside edges.

Real Hot Rods have louvers.

idrivejunk

Ah, thanks. That will be real roddy. Juicy coupe pic. :)

Work continues, feels like a 16yr kid getting work done on his first Hot Rod.

Got the keylock rekeyed for my current key

Welding in the patch panel, oh, the patch panel is made from a portion of a 1957 Ford F100 Hood.

Just about ready to head for the louver press

Oh yeah, the obligatory foot in pic.

Carnut
