Old racer trick . If you want to soften those tires for epic burnouts , rub them down with oil of wintergreen back liniment and let them sit for a few days . The rubber will be VERY soft . Might make your young rival back off for a while. :lol:  :twisted:

Believe it or not, I know of this. Wetted rags laid on slicks overnight. I would not do that to street tires though. Not saying I couldn't or that it wouldn't help. I've simply been outgunned by dollars and theres nothing that can be done about that.
