Smooth as a cob, ain't I?  Stick sheets of 80 grit DA paper on some of your flying smurf dogs' paws and point them at KB's spread, they would be overkill on me.

There ya go, KB... your thread has been initiated by us cut-ups. :)  Great boot bomb, by the way. Another top notch roundtable thread now has all the critical elements of success.   Godspeed.

After finishing yard work this morning, I got started on the pile. I ran the inner fenders through the vat again as a degreaser. They got shot with Summit's semi gloss chassis coating. It's epoxy based and doesn't require under or top coating. I've never used it before so we'll find out about how it works. :) The seat got tackled. I bought upholstery from Rock Auto but it's the same Acme that everybody seemed to sell. The back received a layer of 1/2" scrim sew and the bottom received 1/4". It's all out in the storage shed and out of my way for a while.

I spent most of the day cleaning and doing misc. work. I painted the cab cart to keep it from rusting. It can't stay in the shop all the time. :) I removed all the shackle bolts on the rear suspension. The rear end is ready to be removed.

I had time to work on the crown vic this afternoon. I started the disassembly of the car. My current plan is to remove the body from the frame. That will allow better access to the drive train for an old guy. :)

I thought you were working on am old Ford truck to haul horse droppings with. GPster

Gpster, that would be correct. The cop car is the donor for many parts.

Over at O&S, we had a parting of the ways. I think this was the worst of this project. However, that remains to be seen. :) This was a car when I started this morning.

Lunch break, cold front came through and it's too cold outside for me. Did a little more work on the front fenders. The front bumper valance is one of those "don't they sell those" deals. I have many hours in this part. :)

Today's stopping point. I found out that the ac unit has to be removed for the wiring harness to be removed. The ac unit and the drivers' seat is all that's left.

At least you'll be cool for the last drive...
