If you were not so slow   Jeez! I started fitting my doors a year ago and i am still not done  This will be the third truck you have finished since i started on the coupe  You are an inspiration  8)

C.K., I'm usually an inspiration in a negative way. :) I will take that one as a compliment. :)

Rust pin holes welded. Low spots in fenders filled. More sanding ahead. :)

I'm trying to take advantage of what warm weather is left. The pic is of the front fenders. I epoxied the underneath side and top. 3 layers of high build primer and a 4th on the spots that I repaired. I don't think anybody will be jealous of my outdoor paint booth. :)

Over here at O&S, I have fought it since before 8 am. Nothing has gone smoothly. :) The hood is ready to shoot. The cab is masked but about 1/2 sanded. I'm tired so I quit.

It's got paint, not without issue though. There's a couple of runs in the clear. It has been over a year since I painted and it shows. The whole thing is orange peel-y so I'll have to wait to see what the plan of action is going to be. I didn't intend to cut and buff this but the runs are causing me discomfort. :) The pics are in the booth, sealed and blue.

nice colour ! sort of like Washington blue in the right light. What is the actual shade?

kb426

C.K., you have just seen how little light there is in my make shift booth. :) The color is called ultra blue pearl. It is somewhat darker than 99 Dodge pickup blue pearl. That is a Kirker color wit HOK clear.

The last 2 evenings was spent doing bondo work. The doors had the mirrors ripped off both sides. The good weather has passed and I think I may have to wait to see if we get some warm weather in a few weeks to get the doors and fenders painted. This time of year, the weather changes rapidly. I might get lucky! Probably not. :)

Doors are ready for primer. There was not enough time left today to do that. I'm very hopeful that friday is warm enough to primer. :)  The end of the summer is just that!
