Looks good so far...  first drive with  a video or 2 , thanks.

First drive I take in a fresh build or a re-freshening of a build ... the rear tires are punished a little bit.

Break time. Working on the steering wheel adapter. The pics show the modified factory hub. The riser, the interference with the studs that left room for a nut but not a socket. I made an extension from a piece of 1" round shaft from the junk pile. The top was turned down to allow a nut to be welded to it. The rest is threaded 5/8" fine thread for the steering column. The last pic shows the wheel bolted to it. No horn button yet. :)

End of the day. :) The pics are of the bracket I fabbed for the f150 ignition switch. This allows off, on and start, no acc. I need some sort of stop so the alum. adapter can't slid of the operating pin on the ignition switch. It fits nice but with age that won't be the case. The project has been excommunicated to the outside so my wife's car is inside. If it warms up next weekend, I'll work on it some more. If the weather is ugly, it'll stay outside. :)

1st task of the day. The throttle body flange was removed and the angle changed to facilitate an air filter. The inside of the plenum was full of sludge which caused extra work. I had trouble with dirt in the casting also.

Stopping point for thinking. :) I worked on looming wiring on the engine. Nothing to get excited about, just better than it was. Top end bolted back on. Throttle cable bracket cut and repositioned and welded. Video to show it still runs. :)

I put on new spark plug wires today. The head lights are working. I used the wiper switch on the turn signal stalk for the low - high beam switch. The circuits are low amperage controlling relays so I think I'm ok. I ran a relay and circuit for the electric cooling fan. It's operational with a manual switch. The toggle switch is mounted where the original wiper switch was located. While running the feed for the fan control, I ran a feed for a radio. I have the hazard flashers working but the turn signals aren't finished. I was tired so I quit. :)

Turn signals are resolved. Turns out there was a bad flasher. On to the next item. :)

Bob and C.K., I went to the box of mustang wiring thinking there might be a flasher left. Nope. But I did manage to cut myself while looking so you might say the mustang got me again. :)This flasher had a dent in the top of the case. It was in the f150 fuse panel. The new flasher fixed that. The gauge lights work now. It seems I snipped that wire by mistake. It's an 18 gauge and it was hiding behind something else. Old and blind comes to mind. I'm missing the bushings that go on the brake and clutch push rods. I had the brake switch out and it checks ok. By running power to the brake circuit all is well. I believe that the only thing missing is the high beam indicator light. So now I have head lights, high and low, emergency flashers, turn signals, brake circuit, gauge lights, a feed for a dome light and I'm going to install a connector to the steering column. The column wiring is hard wired as of now. I haven't run a horn circuit yet. Once that is run, I believe I can install the gauge panel for the last time unless this gets painted. This isn't as simple as running all new but after doing this a few times, it's not that bad. :)

This is pitiful. I ran wiring for a dome light. I started working on a horn circuit. The f150 wiring ran through more places than I wanted. I'm about to pull the power distribution panel again to get to the back side to run power to the relay. Lack of forethought on my part.

I've had a little change of plans. Those of you that have followed my projects for the last 4 years might recognize the parts I'm using. I decided to try a pickup bed on this. I went to the scrap pile and dug out  the bed that I discarded from the 51. I cut it to rough size and started beating dents out of it. There's lots to do still but it isn't costing any money. :)
