Underneath, 3M no cleanup rocker spray followed by sealer and paint then topped with a satin clear (also a PPG product, used to replicate the finish on some new motorcycles). I can get numbers if you wish. I like the finish a lot.

Inside, thats (yep I know how most of you probably feel about this product $$$) sound deadening lizard skin topped with their heat blocker. The exterior color will be allowed to fall inside the car, over that. The break from bumpy satin to slick shine up front is where the toe board ends and the firewall goes vertical.

Both of these treatments are quite popular among those whose show cars we have done. The undercar coatings used here have proven to be fairly tough. Easily wiped show clean, as well. The car owner stopped in today and the red slung him into orbit, very pleased to hear that he only has another month or less of paint jail.   :)  He has been wanting to bring in his nice black '34 for minor issues. We will buff this one and hang panels then it goes back to the guy who has already built the interior panels and has the rest of the stuff. The chassis is ready and waiting... and from here it looks like tomorrow is time to shine!  8)

Well...

Painters like to build the suspense too much. He is still fussing over this and that here and there, assuring show quality clear out to every edge. Thats a good man.  8)  The boss was in the booth all day hosing a plethora of bike parts anyhow so... psyche!  :D

When theres something to tell, I mean show...      Just didn't want to leave ya hangin.

Hey but I did stroll out back for a peek today at that '34 two door sedan. All together but the hood, it looks like. Red body, black fenders... man its candylike. More shiny for later. Keep yer hats on, the painter could "fuss" for a spell.

Uh-oh I see glaze coat spots on the roof   Some things just don't get found until final wipe down but I like that it got found!

Ha! Made it as far as sealer today. Thats kinda shiny though, wet.  :D I wanted to go look at the roof SO bad. I can wait...

I believe your 1st post on this car was in August. It's been interesting to watch it unfold. Sort of "Days of our hot rods". :)
