Bob I dig both of those. Loud colors and obnoxious, head-turning styles on each. I dig all of the above rods, actually. Cool cars. A popular mag once dubbed the 69-70 GPs "a face only a mother could love". C'mon now

First time for me seeing the Ugly Olds also.  Both cool cars.

In truth, the Olds looks much better when Bob is standing behind it crouched down so you can't see him. When you get near him you can see the bruises from women touching him with 10 ft poles, and the pork chop tied around his neck so the dog will lick him.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

This is a fun reason to jump out of lurker mode! Happy New Year everyone!

I bought the body of my A in December 1981

Fresh out of tech, with a new job I was able to get it on the road by July of 1985

It's showing over 90,000 miles now, and I enjoy it as much as possible.

Oops ....George found my photo stash ...

Thanks for all the good words guys ...      Did anyone notice that the photos were all taken from 25' away or more  :?:
Ever hear of that famous phrase about lookin' good    :?:  :?:

There is no truth to what Frank is saying ...  The dogs visit me with or without the pork chop....Strange thing...They all seem to say hello the same way on three legs & think that my shoe is on fire..... :?

The women on the other hand, find me "tolerable" now that I need a cane to keep from falling over .... :?:   Something about "it keeps my hands busy"    :?:

AND...Regardless of what Frank says, the photo below is NOT my best side .....   Those canopy parts are a LONG way down ...

As Bob's wife told me, Bob, who she refers to as "roadkill" was kept around because" he was good to the kids". Bob looks as good now as he ever did, "beauty is skin deep, but ugly goes all the way to the bone".

Mikey Siwert How the hell are you????  We haven't spoken for a long while. Still trucking the band around? You made it to the Jalopy Jam Up but missed our E.L.T.A. summer bash. Wish you would have made it Bud

WZ JUNK

Hey Mike.  Good to hear from you.  That red roadster was used to start my model rocket car on the salt flats in 2002.

Hi Mike -it's been way too long since we heard from you. Roadster still looks good and you seem quite stylish.

Charlie
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying. "Wow...that was fun!"

Poster geezer for retirement....

I should make a resolution to post more, even just "me too" sometimes.
I've evolved into a lurker and that's not really a good thing.

Rochie, I really wish I could fit in an ELTA bash, there are so may things on the list with it too. Real life means balancing work, budget, and time though. I know that no matter what I'm enjoying doing, I'm missing out on something else I'd enjoy equally as well.

I'm still trucking the band around, just moved 1000 feet of steel into my garage to build their props for the 2017 show, which will take us to the Netherlands.  I'll be trucking from Frankfurt for that one.

WZ Junk, I had a rocket car moment this past weekend. while building a sub-woofer cart for the band I tore a hole in my SORCA T shirt (Southern Ontario Rocket Car Association) which Big A sent to me back in 2002. Wow, 15 years!

Charlie Thanks! I'm styling my dad's fur coat in that shot and trying to have as much fun as he would have.

Mike
