Dash light replacement

In case this might help someone: this is the led lights that I used in my Vintage Air dash control panel. After doing some research I found that it was common for the wires to come off the bulb. These led's are listed as 5mm. They come in many colors to suit your needs. I just installed them so I don't know if they last well or not.

I have been reading on OEM dash lite replacements for my 2006 Silverado.  It is 11 yrs old, low mileage.  Radio & steering wheel switch lites are burning out.  

I am sure the dash lites & stepper motors in the gauges are not far behind for quitting
