Quote from: "BFS57"Hello;
From what I can see that is really nice!!! Really got the flow out going on!!!
Don't loose that painter! really knows his materials and mixes!!

Bruce

The guy has always amazed me. Him, the boss, and myself... used to work in the same body shop in 96 or 7.  I'll pass that along, thanks!  8)

Quote from: "enjenjo"Hard to believe it is the same car you started with.

This car was just a late bloomer, lets say    The build started in the 90s.

Nice work by ALL you guys ... 8)  8)

That's almost as yeller as the one that I did for my kid ....

 Bob.....

Hooo-weeee now Bob, thats yellow!    8)

On behalf of the crew, we thank you sir.  :D

The guy who is now doing '34 floors will be putting it together, so as far as I know only one guy will have immunity from this one. Theres um (counts on fingers) six guys and a working boss. :-o

Quote from: "rumrumm"What a transformation! I'm partial to yellow so I love it!

Thanks! I didn't know what to think of it under booth lighting but whew yeah I believe it will be plenty "loud" in the sun. 8)

Quote from: "Rrumbler"That is going to be so good looking when it is all dressed out.  I'm waitng to see how the stripes come out.

Should be whatever stripes were on a '68 Z/28. I'm not sure what all that is, but maybe other black areas are included such as rockers and tail panel. I haven't asked if its getting an RS grille or plain. The big-n-little meats should really make it look like a toy. They must be huge  :!:

Thanks! No sanding has occurred yet, so I stayed back with the camera a little ways    but I wanted to peel it open and see the black against it... not yet though :?

Color name is "Lemon Peel". What can we make of that? Lemon law jokes? Peelout references? Hmm...

Painter did the backside of the hood today, and installed the trunk lid so stripe layout can begin. All he had in plastic 1/16" fineline tape was yellow. Ha!

Are the green dots just measuring points for layout?

Looks like those were used to provide a consistent radius at the corners of the positive space, to mark where to lay the fine line tape against their outer edge. They would have been removed after the pic. That part is also done but no pic yet, still wet.
