In the pic, you can see the plastic plug that is where the spool is. It has a small leak. There's an oring on the plug. What do I need to know to pull the plug and replace the oring or whatever is necessary to stop the leak. I didn't find and info about this. I found a diagram of all the parts but no info about disassemble or whether the oring is something unit specific. Thank you.

As I recall, that plug should not see a lot of pressure. I believe your problem lies deeper in the spool itself

OMG you are making me rethink the whole parts car donor thing.Did the license plate or serial # on that mustang read 666 anywhere?

No tag but it had a rebuilt title so the original number was gone. It certainly reminds me of a 90 year old passing away that's an organ donor. Not too many good parts left.
