Smalll GM starter, remove solenoid?

I've had this starter for years.  Never used it,  it does run, ect.

How do you get the solenoid off it?  Looks like it is swedged on permanently ?

I see round spots in the aluminum , like the solenoid is captured via pressed in friction fitment?
