A proper hot rod in the Hot Rod Magazine traditional sense of things!!
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying. "Wow...that was fun!"

Just what I needed to see. Every day when I walk the dog we go past an abandoned Chevette. Then there was that "cut down" altered looking VW Bug in Carp's pictures of the Nats swap meet. Looks like a "Full Size" "Hot Wheels". GPster

That thing is out there, man. Would I like to take it for a li'l rip-snort? Yes please. Tach in column is cool but I sure would hate to work on any part of the car. Except sheetmetal of course!

I did, thank you. After watching some, I'm reminded of another odd duck...

A guy on the FWD GP forum added an additional GTP (supercharged 3800 V6 Grand Prix like my DD) powertrain to a GTP but in the back seat area, and did scary donuts:

They do turbo setups. Last I knew, the front combo was good for about 500HP and the rear for 7-800. There were adventures and tinkering, and this year they put the setups into a yet-bodiless race style chassis and went to the drags. Looks like big fun, and the short blocks are stock. Hmm.
