I stopped by the local "Pick-a-Part" while visiting my son for some rust free stuff...     They have the normal number of cars in the yard but have multiple stacks of crushed cars at the back of the property that are taller ,wider & deeper than the buildings themselves ...

I bet that they are "waiting" for a price increase ..     Ya think  :?:  :?:

My buddy ran 1500 #'s of "garage cleanup" late last week & got approx $65.00....

Been crazy busy the last few weeks, didn't even check in here most days. The place I retired from seven years ago called and asked if I could come in and help dismantle the old shop. Long story short, they hired my brother and I to help take down four overhead cranes, two were on tracks that went the length of the shop, well over 100 ft. We dismantled a roller press and a big steel rack and built skids and loaded and secured them on the skids, skidded several other sets of shelving, built crates and crated up big belt sanders and a couple broaching machines. Lots of others small stuff too, today we stripped and reshingled my daughters porch, that goes around two sides of her house. Tomorrow we do a kitchen floor for a customer, then back to my daughters to take the shingles to the landfill. Monday I leave to go to deer camp to get our new water system up, replace the starter, carb, and mag on the tractor, that's going to feel like a vacation, oh yeah, got to repair the trailer this weekend for the 550 mile trip to camp....

I'm kinda thinking the "What did you do today" thread is getting a lot of the forum action lately.

I check in first thing every morning and then a couple more times through the day.  Frank was here the other day and I forgot to give him a token payment for the upkeep of the board.  I do not know what I would do with out the RRT.

If you think this board is slow, check out Landspeed.  Those poor soles have died.  Two years of very little land speed runs and they have went into depression.

wife and I (and Abby our dog) went to Kent, Ohio to se our Grand daughter perform in in her class play. This is her first year in public high school and as a freshman there were only two under class men given parts and she got the one with script. With the excitement I didn't have a chance to check in. I guess I didn't  miss anything. By the way gas was $1.78 . GPster

It's wonderful to see your grand kids reach for their stars, isn't it?

Our oldest grand-daughter has also been in a couple plays over the last year. Two non-speaking roles at 14. She is in the high school play tonight with her first speaking role. We're looking forward to it.
