I've had this floorjack for decades. It quit about 3 yrs ago. It will sorta try to raise up the arm with no weight on it, then just falls back down

No markings on it.  I dont recall the brand, stickers long gone if they were there.

Trying to see if a seal up kit may be out there if this is a common jack type

Go to garagejournal.com and find someone by the name of Hiball.  He is supposed to be the guru of floor jacks and will help you find out what brand it is, and probably have a rebuild kit for it.

probably one of the Hein Warner winner series.. import jacks..

pressure wash.. tear down.. measure seals.. store parts carefully until you find replacements..

it could have various rubber seals.. could and most like will have a  fluoropolymer piston cup seal.. probably 1.25" but it could be a different size..

there are a few jack places around that might still have some of them..

must measure first..

i need to order some V packings for my hein warner 3 ton pump piston.. it has leather packings..

use the forms on this site to fill out the specs you need to help your search..

you might find this info helpful also..

i had a bag with a about 200 bucks worth of hein warner jack seals and some wheels.. and i cannot find it.. i saw it one day on a shelf in the hallway.. i went back a few days later and somebody had completely reorganized my shelf contents..  what was there.. was GONE and other stuff NOT vital to know where it is instantly was in it's place.. i can see who did it from where i sit.. but it makes no matter to that person that i cannot find it.. at one point i had 7 hein warner WS series floor jacks in my storage..

now if i could just find that bag.. i could fix my transmission jack that i loaned to a friends shop.. it has written on it DO NOT USE ATF..  they put ATF in it and it ate up the transparent violet tinted  floropolymer piston cup seal.

what i have been using... http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb476/waynep712/Mobile%20Uploads/CAM01123_zpsumnp819f.jpg

this is  the  result of my email to HF..

they moved the handle locking knob to the underside of the jack handle..  you cannot see that i ground the heck out of the piston rollers and the end of the pump pistons so i could get the end of the handle to almost touch the ground .. instead of being up and wedged against the bottom of the front bumper..

will a replacement cheep HF jack outlast the version you had or the 25 years of service i got out of a very similar sears 1.5 ton unit. that i actually wore the wheels down thru the wide area and it was dragging on the bottom..
