Several people have told me that this is close to the best show in the US. Is that what everyone thinks?

We have been going there for about 10 years ..
The fairgrounds are big with 1 entrance & about 4 or 5 exits ..
There are trees with shaded parking .. ( You need to arrive at "O-dark 30" to park under the trees or on "Main" street) .. Best to bring your own shade ..
There are multiple food & drink vendors ..Everything from hot dogs to decent pizza & multiple beer vendors if you desire ..
The swap meet is getting bigger every year with reasonable pricing .. There are also may cars for sale in the swap area ..
Most new parts vendors are in a large air conditioned building ...
There is a large "Ladies World" area also indoors ..
There are decent , clean restrooms all over the grounds ..
On Friday night you can purchase discounted tickets for the stock car or sprint car races on the grounds ..
They are also running cars through the Gymkhana course all day ..Every day .. Some of those cars flat scoot around the course
Probably the neatest thing is the different cars you see there .. Everything from the high dollar "Never leave the trailer" cars down to the "Gee , Will he make it home " specials ..

Something unique last year was a Chev pickup with an exposed GMC 702" V-12..Really a different kind of truck .. This year I found a '50 Buick with a 6BT Cummins installed ... Really kind of a neat installation ...

We enjoy it just for the "Get Away" & to see different cars ... I'm sure Jay Bee can fill in more info .. It does take a lot of walking to see everything especially when people move their cars around from day to day ....

Motel room have been an issue from year to year ..EVERYBODY books them early .. ( Mine are already locked up for next year) JayBee can prolly help you there ...
I think that you would enjoy it ....
