We will be there again this year with the "Ugly Olds" .. Should we do a meet & greet at Noon Saturday by Yogi's  

I'm the slim handsome feller with the long wavy hair .....  

 Can't miss me ..I'll be wearing a street rod shirt .....  :?

Then lunch by the Beef & Beer place & watch the "Race around the cones" guys like years past ...  :  :?:

Bob, that whole deal sounds great! I won't be there to enjoy it with you guys. The LA Roadster show was my extra big trip this year. I'm trying hard to make Iowa next year.

Had a great time in Des Moines again.  Sorry I missed the meet 'n greet Saturday.  I was there at 5:00 AM Saturday morning.  The ladies were supposed to go on a "ladies only" day Saturday but the lady that was supposed to drive and her husband decided to leave a day early Saturday and head home.  So we went back to the hotel and had a great day.  Went to the West End Salvage store (as seen in the HGTV show West End Salvage) and saw some really cool stuff and met the owner/star who showed us some future car related projects that will be featured on the show.  Came back to the fairgrounds about 3:00 and had a great time.

Another side trip we took was on Thursday the 3rd on the way.  We stopped at the American Pickers place in LeClaire, IA and Mike Wolfe there.  He was nice enough to pose for a picture with me and my 46 Chevy.  He later drove away in his A/V8 roadster.

Gee ....  Sounds like everybody had a good time ... I was at Yogi's at Noon as instructed ... Nobody questioned my "Loitering" by 12:15, so I went for a Burger & Brew as planned ....
