Looking for a room in Louisville for the NSRA Nationals.  Any recommendations or areas to avoid?  Don't want to mortgage the house but would like a clean room in a decent area for me and the wife

Some of the reviews are not the best but we have been staying for about 6 years and no problems.

We've been staying at the Baymont down in Brooks for about 8 years. They treat us right! There's also 5 other motels at that exit. Only drawback.......there isn't a lot of eating establishment in the area.

We stay at a Super 8 on Preston Hwy. ,2 miles from fairgrounds. Its clean, reasonable $ & close by.Been there 6-7 yrs, yeah we like it.

Thanks for all the input.  Got a room just off I-65 north of the fairgrounds.   Quality Inn,  $110 per night.
