valve cover baffels

Question, Im putting on some aftermarket valve covers on a 350 sbc. They come with baffels that are screwed on, my question is would you use the baffels or take them off?

I'd leave them in place. They help keep the oil inside the valve cover where it belongs.

Son is having this problem also! He wanted to use the stock center bolt 350 valve covers, he bought roller rockers, seems only certain one's will fit! He hasen't quiet got to that point yet, narrow rockers might be needed!

I think the baffels also have something to do with if the engine backfires also!
