Terraplane question:
I saw the '37 Terraplane that was blue at Louisville this year. It's the one with the slide out "truck bed" in the trunk. I have pictures of it on my website.

The tag says the cars lives in IL.
The question is this: This was stock on that car in '37?? With all of the customizing done to cars these days, have to question every now and then. Didn't Studebaker have something similar? I think it's a neat idea.

A street rod is a vehicle made before 1949 that is modified with modern stuff: bigger motors; newer trans; updated suspension, front & rear; a/c.
Following is a street rod plus definition: No known definition because it changes.

Welcome aboard, I remember the terriplane from pics you posted on the HAMB quite some time ago. I always liked the stance.

And as far as those goofy headlites, WEll you should probably  run the stockers. So I'd be willing to find you a set and trade you. Yeah I know you're thinking ..."Hey I don't even know this guy and he is willing to do me such a big favor"
Well  thats just the kind of guy I am
