i bet your ears would  POP when you spooled up the motor when sitting in the drivers seat..

wonder if its after burning also...   if you are going to make that much noise... might as well have 40 feet of flame out the exhaust pipe also.

since there are a pair of them.... two for the price of one??

then there are some bugs to work out... the fun way..   DMV was after this guy something fierce.. something about tampering with emission controls..  

.. there was also the friend of the granetelli's  who ended up with the last indy car turbine engine from their indy race attempt.. dropped it in a corvette body..  drove it thru hollywood had everybody looking around for the airplane..

then took some hot laps at ontario motor speedway... realized how dangerous it was when they were lapping at 160+ on street tires...
