Once upon a time I had a customer who made and shipped aluminum billets. the drivers didn't like the fact that it had to be tarped. I asked the customer if we could leave the tarps off and he said no way. These were made for remelt and any tiny bits of water on the surface of the billets would cause the furnace to explode when dropped in the pots with already melted material.
