New T-400 transmittin cases are available

New Reid case in photos. This has full governor circuit for automatic shifts.  Bolt on bell housing.  Case and Bell are SFI rated for safety & race use

there is also an  ATI brand case, race use only , no governor cirsuits.

Very tough , durable case.  In the area of 1400 dollars new , with NO bell housing

With these design cases, bolting a T-400 trans to a Ford, Mopar or other engines just became a lot easier
