65 chevelle heater valve

Does anybody know where the location should be of the water valve for the heater on a 65 chevelle with ac? I'm trying to help a friend. I can't find any info as to where it goes.

inner fender..?  i did see that there are special long screws to mount it..  perhaps 1" long..



this kinda tells me that it probably mounts on the HVAC box under the hood..

i don't have time to flip thru each page of this 65 chevy body service manual... it may not have the info...  there is a click link below and above on almost every page..

the heater is in section 8 and the ac in section 9


the closest image i could find is for this 69 chevelle.. but i gave up.. it still might exist
