Am I dreaming or do I recall seeing an occasional "open trailer from... " posting on here in the past? I did a search (probably wrong) and didn't see anytning.

I'm thinking about having a car shipped and thought one of the members here might be doing it on the side.

I'm thinking I can have a car shipped about 1500 miles as cheap as I can make the trip. The best I could possibley do on fuel is 15 mpg average. 200 gal of fuel, 3 nights motel, oil change and it has every bit of $900 used up. Plus 4 days on the road.

Not sure about here, but there is a guy on the HAMB that is supposed to be reasonable, and a good guy. JMHO
If a blind person wears sunglasses, why doesn\'t a deaf person wear earmuffs??

BenD is the guy on the Hamb. Good luck finding someone who would do it for as little as the $900 which figures out to $.60 a loaded mile
Some days it\'s not worth chewing through the restraints.

phat rat - Your right about the low ball shipping amount I was dreaming for. With a one car load it is  looser for the hauler. There are many transporters pulling 3 car trailers. Then there are the companies pulling the stacker full size trailers. I was thinking an open hauler would be the cheapest.
The postings I had seen somewhere must have been someone that made a haul one way and was looking for a load coming back to sweeten his deal.
