I have several 1/2" Clark 24 volt cordless drills. The other day I was cutting a 2" hole in some sheet metal with a hole saw using the Clark, when the saw broke through, the saw hung up, and the drill actually exploded in my hand. No damage to me, but the drill is now parts.

Rrumbler

Did it break gears and stuff, or did it electrically self destruct?
Rrumbler - Older, grouchier, broken; but not completely dead, yet.

Maybe a good thing, my 18 volt DeWalt nearly breaks my wrist when it catches with a hole saw in it.
