Is the fan shot? Have you tried a jumper direct to it?
Some days it\'s not worth chewing through the restraints.

check the ground connections at the radiator core support..

the mustang electric fans are grounded there along with a BUNCH of other things..

there are grounds at both end of the core support..  usually green...

i have found the wiring to the ring terminals frayed and broken.. limiting the amount of amperage getting to the fan..

remember.. in a car.. a ground is HALF the circuit .. not a safety circuit

edit..   now that i think of it.. you have a 302 in rod of some kind..

you might want to open the relay and manually close it.. see if the contacts are your problem

what year are you working on.. i will be able to link a wiring diagram..

i have also on some fords.. that use a black square plastic box for radiator fan control..  had the contact support plastic melt so when the relay closes..  the contacts DON'T touch..

Wayne: It's still my old T-Bucket . The wiring is pretty darn good if I say so myself.LOL Got to do some tests today.

Tested the fan--It's only the relay.  Good.
