I know pretty much zip obout Ford tranny's.  I am going to put a 302 in my Vicky, and was wondering if there is an overdrive automatic that fits that motor without any electronics.  Just want to bolt it on and go.  I am not in any hurry, just gathering parts right now.

Thanks

AOD

A4OD?? i have heard of the A4LD version of the C3 pinto transmission

one thing...

NON electronic ford OVERDRIVE transmissions both use throttle valve cables... and most carb linkage lever length is wrong..   you have to use the same linkage lever adaptor from Holley or edelbrock for the 200-4r  or the 700r4.. it puts the center line of the connector almost exactly 25MM from the centerline of the carb shaft..

failure to do this will usually ruin the transmission in a few blocks..

Thanks guys, I had figured out the AOD, although if you google A4OD it will come up and lead to the correct tranny.
