i just found a few places near me...

there is a guy out in the valley at the upick parts who material. but its usually velour..  in Bright colors...

i am taking that you are making inserts panels for seats...

my upholstery friend who passed away a few years ago... did that kind of stuff.. he had a varnished sewing table about 16 foot long 7 foot wide with sewing machines at opposite corners...  he could run long long straight stitches with that table as he was not fighting the fabric...

he just sharpened chalk sticks to a flat width.. used rulers to lay it out and sewed along the lines...   came out really straight..

he went as far as drilling a big block of hardwood and driving in row after row of finishing nails... to make a dotted pattern for one insert...  he jacked up his lincoln and dropped the cross member on this device to emboss the dotted pattern on a section of vinyl...

Thanks guys: Wayne that's funny about putting the pattern in the material.
