Local gasoline prices

I bought gas Thursday at Costco for $2.01. Here in town, it was $2.40.

I am always careful.  It is the other fools I cant trust.

On the flip side:  a friend  showed me a cell phone pic , where he paid: 99.9 for gasoline.... after the 1.00 off with his Frys Food store points.

Certainly strange to see that low price on gasoline pump in todays USA

Stations around me are mixed. Some prices have been dropping while some are rising :?  Seems to have no rhyme or reason to it.

I do have a ton of discount points from buying a home depot gift card and getting 4X the discount points on it. I'll be saving $1.00 a gallon on my next two fills.

yeah,  1.89-9 seems popular price aroun here at local Costco.

as Jim Rivers pointed out, prices range up and down 5 to 10 cents (or more)  within 1 mile of each station.

Filled today for $1.97.9 BEFORE my Kroger grocery $1.00 discount

Station was $1.98.9 a few days ago, then went to $2.05.9 before dropping back to $197.9 yesterday
