Was only a few year ago folks said we were crazy trying to convince the world Hybrid cars were the way of the future.      

Hey Frank, ever wonder how come our Bogan PM can be so popular in the US and so hated back home that she's recording the lowest opinion pols ever for any PM?

The name Bob Brown comes to mind, funny what a politician will do to gain and hold power.  "We will categorically never have a Carbon tax or Gay marriage" she said in order to be elected.  She just forgot to add "Oh, unless I need Bob's vote or the support of a couple of independents to steal the top job."  When one man who was not elected to but got elected by 'three' votes as an independent can wield so much power and have the PM grovelling at his knee and making law whatever he demands, suggests that democracy is not quite the perfect system.  Especially when it's left to politicians to manage.

Bought gas in Cleveland yesterday, $3.559. In Toledo it was $3.499.

the problem with hybrid cars  as I read articles on them ...  the battery is very dirty manufacturing process that nearly offsets the cleaner air , less used fossil fuel

Paid 3.46 a gallon for regular gasoline yesterday.  

Put 70 dollars of gas  in the truck  tank... never done that before.

filled up the 48 today at $3.39 :cry:  half hour later went by the same station it had gone to $3.45

when i went by the same station a few days ago it was $3.41 so it had gone down a bit  and according to the "gasbuddy" app on my phone it's at $3.39 tonite. i don't need gas so we'll see what it is when i do.

I need to watch these gas prices if I buy a "gasser"  car to replace the diesel Jetta.  I will mis the real 500+ miles per tank on the Jetta
