Local gasoline prices

I just put $36 worth of $3.36 Premium in my 61 Chrysler.

Looks like regular was $3.15, darn I missed the $2.99 from last week.

filled up after shopping at the costco near the house for $2.99. drove past two stations i never fill up at that were $3.23 and $3.19.

It rose here today, generally from $3.23 to about $3.49. Filled at Sam's Club about an hour ago for $3.18. They will be up in the morning.

It fell off a little since Christmas day when it was up for the week end. Must be the New Years week end increase now...LOL

I paid $3.02 in Clintom Iowa and on the Illinois side of the Miss. it was $3.29. In Sterling Il. the other day it was $3.39 at Shell and across town in Rock Falls it was $3.25, same people own both stations--go figure.

Ethanol subsidies expire at midnight tomorrow, along with import ethanol tariffs.  The ethanol blending mandate, however, will continue to be in place.  It will be interesting to see how much that will impact E85.

Yep, a lot of hidden tax increases go into affect after midnight tomorrow not just fuel increases.

Saw the news last night and they stated that the price of gas will be over 4 bucks this year.  What a bunch of crap considering we export more fuel than we import every day.  There I feel better now!

Same here on this side of the state. It was $3.28 yesterday morning and by mid afternoon it was $3.68. The news sources keep predicting $4 soon, but no explanation is given as to why.
