Thanks for the responces...

Dan, NO damned tractor grill!

Bob, Jay,The A shell is lowered. the Deuce is not in the pictures. There is a 1.5+ drop to the A shell as it sits. I would need to buy a shorter rad to go lower or hack into the cross member. I went 2 inches lower on the Rad BUT I forgot to take into account the slight channel....OOPS

The reason for using a mesh insert in the A shell is to hide the open areas from lowering the shell below the bottom tank. I plan to use something similar to the grill guard mesh mounted tight behind the shell.

Joe and Slo, I will paint the shell either way I end up.

As far as lights they will be Arrow lights mounted lowish.

Overall I am going for a early to mid 60's look Either painted steelies Chrome reverse or possibnly Ansen style mags.

I like the look of the 32 shell but it has been done so much.

With a '32 grill shell and insert, your radiator will have some protection from bugs, birds, etc. I ran a '29 radiator shell on my '29 roadster some years ago, and I found myself straightening radiator fins every so often. A small bird like a sparrow can do damage to an open radiator.
