Hello;
Have drove my chevy for a couple years now and am "thinking" I should rebuild my 1406 carb.
Been looking at a couple different kits but not seeing anything about if these are safe to use with ethanol gas. Did get the Edelbrock pump assy that can be used with "today's" gas, but what about the flat gaskets?

Ethanol is so common now I think you'd be hard preed to find new gaskets that aren't compatible.

this walker catalog shows the performance kits come with floroelastomer cups on the pistons...

its a big download and a color picture catalog...   available through some parts stores...  usually the boxes inside have this companies parts
