Curved Firewall

I don't like square recessed firewalls so I looked at building a curved one using bits cut from an FSR Isuzu truck cab, enjoy the pic's

Looks good! I used a wheel barrel to put 3" more recess into my firewall. I made it so I can remove an HEI distributor without tearing the car apart.It also allows me to run a tunnel ram intake if I ever get that silly.

That was the origional reason I wanted to do it, the engine was running a twin tunnel ram with bug catcher scoop, so thinking ahead I made it wide enough that I could fit a big block in there

Did you notice the pic where I got too excited while I was welding in the dark and heat warped it in the middle? it took a few hours to fix that, my BAD
