I wish I'd had the opportunity to go before they changed the rules allowing newer cars. Not that I don't appreciate all nice cars, but the Street Rod Nats was unique. Now it's just like all the rest. I'll never attend the event because of that.

Is there a plan for the BBQ trailer being there? I'm thinking I could be a spectator for a day if there was a place to sit down and visit. It's close enough that I could make it a "Day Trip" from our son's house in Cincinnati. It's while my wife will be either in Burbank or Carson City so I'll have the air conditioned car. GPster

I'll be there Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Kind of a short trip this year. But as they say.....Some is better than None!!!

There is a hitch on the Marlin, and I have towed the BBQ to Louisville with it before. But for a couple reasons, I am going to trailer it down this year. Biggest reason, I don't trust the tires that far any more, and I want to change the rear end, so new ones won't fit with the rear end I want to use.

Anybody up for a meet & greet? We'll be there in our blue/cream 47 Ford coupe Thur-Sat. We usually hang w/our friends from Memphis around from the right side of entrance gate.
