Hey Tony...I went to Walmart to get keys cut for my '63 Ford; no dice.  The guy did tell me that if I couldn't find any anywhere, to tell him and he'd bring in his own machine from home.

I was in RP Lumber in my town (2500 pop.), and I saw that they had a key cutting machine.  I asked the guy if he could help me, and lo and behold, he had the blanks for both the ignition and trunk.  I got four keys cut for under $6.  Try the odd ball places...

This afternoon I cleaned carbs on a Yamaha sport bike. They're pretty compact and not fun to work on. I made a jet holder and screwed the blocked pilot jets into it. I heated them with a heat gun and with 150lbs of air, I finally got them cleared. The orfice in them is around .010. The owner came by and left with a big grin.

I started to get ready to begin to commence to putting "old people" bars in our master bath tub/shower; have not used it since we moved in because of the lack of them.  In the process of vacuuming up dust and drywall leavings, I burned up my old Dirt Devil vacuum that I have had for over 25 years; stinky!  Kind of makes me sad, that old thing and I have been pretty good buddies for a long time.  Another day tomorrow.

The wife and I have been staining siding and trim on the house for the last few weekends. Yesterday I replaced one siding board on the south side that was getting crispy and screwed down a bunch of other places. Short galvanized deck screws hold a lot better than siding nails once the thin cedar starts to curl. Pre drilling through the siding boards prevent splitting in most cases.

started to rehang the electric fan.  i used those plastic things that went thru the radiator, and didn't like to have the fan pulling on the fins.  so i''m making a metal bracket.

I'm cleaning the 32 again! It's 102 degrees in the shop and I'm happy. I'm getting a little more summer. Tomorrow is the Hooker Ok. car show. It's been a great day the last few years. I expect that to repeat.
