`nuther Combo Valve question

To refresh: `63 C-10 upgrade to front disc brakes with mid -late 70's parts.

The combo valve I found is from a late 80's K1500. The concern is that the rear port and line on the valve is 1/4" and the rear line on the truck is 3/16". Can I just step down to the 3/16 off the valve without ill effects?
