3 Years Later, Thanks!.. Tuna Boat goes Racing

Almost to the day three years ago today I drug home a 1958 4-door, C-Dan... I was new to the hobby, and had tons and tons to learn.. you guys and gals were great, helping my find parts, answering questions, helping my trouble shoot and solve my car related issues... my membership into Team Smart was well earned :oops:

At first I was hesitant to drive the car much out of the city limits and for good reason, as some of the first drives were very scary .. like the steering box welds letting go, discovering the previous owner took a lot of short cuts to get the car on the road, blah, blah...

SO three years later how did I celebrate... well check it out... :?:

I took the boat for a little spin at the Billet Proof Drags in Lakeland Florida... I HAD A BALL! MOST FUN I HAVE EVER HAD WITH MY CAR!

Once again.. thanks everyone... I couldn't of done it without ya!

Now that's what it's all about!

In the video I only counted about 7 seconds for that run. That's, uh, pretty good Don.

It's kinda wierd how your car started out a model A then turned into the tuna boat after it left the line...
