I am installing a LED Light Bar to my license plate frame. The unit is made by United Pacific Industries.  It will function as my 3rd brake light. Do I need to add a resistor to the 12 volt supply?  There are 3 wires from the LED assembly. I was going to tie all three wires together since it will only be used for a brake light. Is this okay?
Thanks for your feedback and comments

You shouldn't need a resistor......
The 3 wires one should be ground one tail light and one brake light unless it had turn sig it it too... If thats the case then yes you can tie them all togther...
