i put this on the tail of another thread.. then figured.. it would be good as its own...

so i bounced it over here..

rubber motor mounts that look like hockey pucks... that could be used as body / frame mounts...

there were no sizes listed for these part numbers.. only fuzzy images...

this list should help with the amount of boxes that need to be opened ..

i even used the #2122 and #2123 motor mounts on my skateboard trucks to replace the tiny neoprene biscuits they came with.. i rode it almost 10 miles a day.. passing commuter busses.. to school and back..

Well, I looked at it again and it (or some flu) made me sick. With the radiator support off I can see that one of the frame mount brackets is rusted almost enough to let the rubber mount drop clear through it. Weighing the options I could remove the bracket from another frame and drill out all the rivets and affix the braket to my frame with bolts so I could use stock rubber mounts. OR I could clean up the mount in my frame and weld in a patch that is of the original size and proceed with it that way. OR Because the radiator support that is my replacement isn't wonderful and I had to patch it in the area of the mounts, I think I'm going with the 'Hockey Puc' route. They're 3"OD which will extend to good metal on all structures. They don't have any holes in them so I can make the holes bolt size. I can make the pieces that center the mounts in the center of the frame brackets to suit the size of the hole that's there. I've got the replacement radiator support fitted and because I'm reaching for less lofty ideals on this repair it might just get "pop" riveted in. It's warmer sitting inside building a Crosley. my thoughts are big washers...welded into the opening...  they even make those square ones that could be welded up on the lower side and a filler washer in the hole so the original height is restored...

just  thought, have you looked at the adjustable mounts used on 92-97 ford crown vics? they are used on the radiator core, have a rubber bottom, and have "steps" that you can adjust for height....
