Slant cab F-100 truck

We had this truck in the shop today.

It is actually powered by a small block Ford - C4 combo.

I like the color, unusual looking bed floor from bottom, what does top side look like? Kind of partial to slant cabs myself. Joe

Slantcab = Slanting front pillar on cab of 53 to 55 model F100s.

56 F100 has Straight up and down pillar.

floor in the bed is pressed aluminum  to resemble the wood form pattern.

Slant cab nic-name was at one time thought of as a put down for the early pre 1956 trucks.

Thanks. Didn't know that and those are my favorite trucks. Thought they were all the same besides grilles.
