Pearl white base and inspiration from the Pierson Bros.

The other side will be nnear as I can make it to the same only blue, with about 1/8 inch of pearl white separating the two colours down the middle of the car.

Today the blue went on.......

Then considering I have too much spare time, I figured "what the heck. let's plumb the engine and hook up the controls."

Of course if we're gunna race, we gotta have numbers and since the Pierson Bros '33 coupe carried number 2, number three was the obvious choice.

You need a chute now and some salt.. Very nice. My brother used to paint models flat black and than mist gold paint over them. A pretty cool look. Man that was awhile back      Please note the use of the words: man and cool.

Fear not Mike, I spent last nite detailing the chhute and fitting it's attaching hook to the rear axle.

There's still a few details to get sorted before I call it done.

Might have to try the gold over flat black deal on something.

Too many ideas, not enough time.

Peter, I juss figgered it out -- you're that one kid that always beat me out at the model contests! Remember Bing's Hobby Shop in California Square? That was you! That was you all along -- ya bastid...

Most people have a higher than average number of legs.

Carps

If that's how Rodney builds model cars I think I can see the problem.

He forgot to fit the headlamps.

And the fenders.

Nice pic BTW, I have some just like it that even appear to be the same car.

*! That's a blast from the past right there... I didn't wanna do the fenders on that one. The customer (now my good friend) insisted. Turns out he was right. It went over okay and he's drivin' the dog poo out of it now. Thanks for throwin' that up.

Peter, I need to talk to ya...
