I would mention this to Fatcat.

To my knowledge the admin of the board can not block a PM via the software.

Nope, not the problem.
when I tried to respond to Phat46's PM.......a little box popped up stating "The Administrator has blocked you from sending Private Messages"
I think it is now fixed.
