earier this week i traded a bop 400 turbo core and a c-note for a complete 348 down to the bellhousing/clutch.
i think it needs a blower;)

today, i'm out in the shop and one of the local kids runs a derby car (demo, i guess) and asked if i had any 350's that i wanted to get rid of.
well,i've got one from a 75 nova that's been sitting here for 10 years it seems like.
"will ya trade? i've got a pair of vortec heads..."
"sure (i've been trying to scrounge up a set of builder vortecs for a while now)"
the kid brings 'em over, along with a vortec performer intake and a set of proform roller rockers.
the heads already have screw in studs!


this was his idea, i only wanted $150 for the engine.
once in a while i get lucky  

btw, i'll have an intake for sale,i need at least a perf rpm or a victor jr...
