sbc mounts??

Hi all, I am new to the board and have a question about sbc mounts. Does anybody now if chevy made different v8 motor mounts (height, I need some short ones)and if so what vehicle they came on.  Thanks

Yes they made different height mounts, but it depends on which chassis you are installing them in. The actual shortest mount is the 67 to 72 V8 truck mount, about 1 1/4" thick, but you have to have access to the bottom side of the mount to bolt it in.

I have a full size jeep that I am putting a 350 in. I have made some plates for the mounts to sit on, so the bottom half I will weld in.  Thanks for the info and the welcome!!! :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:

The truck mounts will work on the Jeep, I have used them in the past.
