Help is needed from some of you experienced folks out there.  What tips & procedures are recommended to take '37 or '38 Ford windshields apart for rehabing & glass installation?  (The frame connecting blocks are frozen in-place even after MUCH penetrating oil & time.)

Also, any suggestions for drilling & tapping the frame connecting blocks when the screw heads break off?  (I've been told that they ALWAYS do!)
Thanks......

Apply some heat and let it cool. repeat several times. Be really patient. You may be able to buy or make those fairly easy. When I took my 37 apart, the blocks were solid square stock. I made new ones and was in good shape. Seems like there were 2 in the middle that were bent. Sorry, that's been about 2 years ago and my memory is non-functioning.

I agree...LOTS of patience.  Heat the head cherry red & let it cool ..Do it again & again 4 or 5 times...Then re-soak it with GOOD penetrating oil...
THEN try to remove GENTLY.....
If I remember the screws are NOT a standard thread...( like 8/32 or such..) They are something strange ...Maybe ask on the early Ford site ???
