I thought I would post a link to a page where some Henry Js are..

My friend Bert's orange Henry J is on the front page with a white Henry J powered by a 409 chevy.

Great link Tony.

Hooley ran his Henry at Tulsa last night for test and tune.  Today he is going to Ardmore, OK for the first Midwest Gasser meet.  I painted his front end yesterday.  He is to bring the car to me tomorrow and I will finish up the part I am doing and install the front.

Good to hear Hooley has the J out on the track.

Bert learned his springs on the heads were not setup for the lift camshaft he had..It was going into coil bind on several valves. A different shop worked the heads over, new springs installed.  The engine responds much better.

I spent a good deal of time on the phone with Bert explaining that his 2 Edelbrock carbs ( 4 barrel) were too much fuel for the 355cid engine. They were jetted near stock for a single carb application.  Bert likes the dual 4 barrel setup for nostalgia looks... As soon as you open the secondaries up some the engine starts to dog out from too much fuel.

He is going to jet them down after reading specs on Edelbrock's web site....

Here's something that every Henry J owner needs hanging on his garage wall.  It's on Epay.
