you can do a google search for auto tansports and find sites where you will get at least 10 different quotes.  I used this and went with cascade vehicle transport to have my ragtop hauled from Boise Idaho to Southern Illinois.  you can compare open and closed rates and check out the reviews on line.
Agree that Ben from the HAMB would be the one to contact(he hauled 2 for me awhile bacK), but is understandable he is taking time off.

The bill last summer was $1400 for a 32 to go from southern IL to Washington state. Most transport companies will show up with a stacker semi. They can't make enough with the small trailers. I would think a tripple would be the smallest trailer to make expenses.

Covered trailers or open?  Do you know?

Oh, i believe just open....They may have some covered to, but hell, its just a tuna boat... :D

If it's the same PJ's as here in Clearwater, they are a consignment hot rod dealership that uses open stacked haulers for transport. They also hire the cheapest drivers they can find, and they will fill the hauler before going too far, so it may take 3 weeks or so to get the car, depending on the route and stops.

There's a PJ's Autoworld here in town that gets alot of cars from up around Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. I was just wondering if they were connected. If they come to Florida weekly then it may be the same outfit.

Big scam with haulers: a year ago they were taking Katrina cars north that had been brought to florida and reworked. Recently a couple of the interstate haulers were busted because illegal drugs were being transported in the cars. I guess ya' gets what ya' pays for.

If the Accadia gets wrecked, after they come off strike, they'll build you a new one in Lansing. Not going to happen with the Tuna Boat.

If they are willing to pay for it, have Das Boot moved and drive the Acadia. That's what they are made for, anyway.

Buy a tow dolly if you must and have your bride ride with you and have a road trip.
