I just got a new set of Weld Rodlites wheels. The shine out of the box is almost Chrome, but I know it is just polished aluminum.
How can I keep them looking good ? Also would they do ok with a light clearcoat of paint. The last wheels I had on my Rod were anodized and all I did was wash them.
Thanks for you answers !

You might consider Powdercoating, I believe that is what American uses on the Outlaw Wheels-if you don't like that, then there is always this:

Polish on, polish off!  That's the only way. Nothing looks quite the same as a well polished wheel.

Wenol has a wax that is supposed to protect aluminum wheels once they are polished. I have used it on mine as I think the price of Zoop seal is excessive. So far, so good, and they have been on the car for 5 years.

Your wheels look GREAT ! Where can you get the Wenol ? Auto parts store ?
THANKS

I don't think parts stores carry it. But you can Google "Wenol" and get it from numerous places including Amazon and Ebay. I got mine at the SR Nationals in Louisville.
